According to the Public Relations Office of the International Arbaeen Narrative Festival, a ceremony honoring the servants of the medical-health convoy of the Basij Medical Society of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences was held with the presence of the University President, board members, and a number of academics.
In this ceremony, the Head of the Office of the Supreme Leader’s Representative at the University, while elaborating on the media activities of the Second International Arbaeen Narrative Festival, stated: “According to the latest reports, more than 1,200 works have been registered in the submission system, showing significant growth compared to the First Arbaeen Narrative Festival.”
He added: “Among the submissions, over 17 international participants took part in various categories of this festival. With the commencement of the judging process during the second Fatimiyyah period, we hope to witness the closing ceremony of the Second International Arbaeen Narrative Festival with the presence of international and domestic guests and award winners.”
Referring to a narration from Imam Sadiq (AS), he said: “It is the love of Imam Hussein (AS) that has placed us on this path, and we thank God Almighty that the university’s medical convoy, along with the participation of students in jihadist volunteer camps during the Arbaeen days, provided an exceptional opportunity for you, the academics, to serve the pilgrims of Aba Abdillah al-Hussein (AS).”
Dr. Ali Khedavi further emphasized: “Narration is the text and the essence of Ashura itself, and in order to preserve it, this historic event must be narrated correctly. Thankfully, by God’s grace, it has now become a public culture.”
In conclusion, the Head of the Office of the Supreme Leader’s Representative at the University expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the tireless efforts of the Basij Medical Society volunteers in the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
