According to the Public Relations Office of the International Arbaeen Narrative Festival, Hamed Pashaei, speaking at the closing ceremony of the First International Arbaeen Narrative Festival, emphasized the importance of a media perspective on the great event of Arbaeen, stating: “We owe 1,400 years of media debt to the School of Shi’a. In a world saturated with Western technology and entertainment, the Arbaeen pilgrimage introduces a new message of Mahdavi lifestyle; amidst this unprecedented invasion and media war, Arbaeen is our point of strength.”
He added: “Collecting authentic oral memories from the pilgrims of Aba Abdillah (AS) and producing content from people’s narratives are among the smallest yet most meaningful duties that cultural and artistic figures can fulfill toward Imam Hussein (AS).”
Pashaei went on to explain the process of judging and selecting the works submitted by both Iranian and international participants, adding: “Out of 100 submissions received by the festival, 11 works succeeded in reaching the winners’ section, which are being honored today in this ceremony.”
