According to the Public Relations Office of the International Arbaeen Narrative Festival, on the eve of Arbaeen, a ceremony was held with the presence of Dr. Gheydari, President of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences; Hojjat al-Islam Dr. Khedavi, Head of the Office of the Supreme Leader’s Representative at the University; members of the university’s board; professors; media activists; and student artists, during which the official poster of the Fourth International “Arbaeen Narrative” Festival was unveiled.
In this ceremony, Dr. Khedavi emphasized the role of popular narration in introducing the culture of Ashura to the world, describing the Arbaeen Narrative Festival as a media, cultural, and civilizational movement. He said: “The narrative of Arbaeen is a prelude to introducing Imam Hussein (AS) to the world and preparing the ground for the reappearance of the Savior. If we want the world to know the Imam of the Time, we must narrate Hussein.”
For the first time this year, a special section titled “Media Activists” has been added to the festival. This category identifies and evaluates narrative-based activities of individuals who act as “human media” along the path of the Arbaeen pilgrimage. On the other hand, due to the unintended postponement of the third festival’s closing ceremony following the recent tragic events, it has been decided that the closing ceremonies of both the third and fourth festivals will be held jointly and simultaneously during the Fatimiyyah period of this year.
