The closing ceremony of the International “Arbaeen Narrative” Festival was held, during which the names of the winners were announced

The closing ceremony of the Second International Arbaeen Narrative Festival was held at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, with the presence of Hujjat al-Islam Fatemi-Pour, Deputy for Cultural and Political Affairs of the Office of the Supreme Leader in Universities; Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Ali Khadivi, Head of the Office of the Supreme Leader at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences; Dr. Alireza Zali, President of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences; Lebanese social activist Ms. Zahra Qubaisi from southern Lebanon; and a number of the festival’s winners.

Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Ali Khadivi, President of the Second International Arbaeen Narrative Festival, announced that the majority of works submitted to the secretariat belonged to the fields of photography, documentary, short film, audio productions (podcasts), poetry, and memoir writing. He added that out of more than 1,350 works evaluated, 40 winners were honored as first, second, third place, and honorable mentions.

He explained that the main goals of this festival were to collect students’ narratives of Arbaeen, identify their capacities and talents, establish effective engagement with them, produce valuable Hussaini content, and document the memories of the Arbaeen pilgrimage. He emphasized that the cultural and artistic message of the festival rests on the themes of “Arbaeen: The Great Media of the Revolution,” “Unity of Students in the Islamic World,” and “Arbaeen: A Mahdavi Movement.”

Khadivi further outlined the festival’s main categories, which included: service to Arbaeen pilgrims; pilgrimage and walking, Hussaini miracles, and spiritual experiences; mourning rituals, lamentation, and eulogies; Islamic unity, Islamic resistance, and martyrs of resistance; Mahdism, lifestyle, modesty and hijab; and the Ashura culture and rituals of Islamic nations.

The Secretariat of the Second International Arbaeen Narrative Festival announced the winners as follows:
